Detailed Itineraries
Day 1:
Arrive at Dar es Salaam International Airport, Proceed to
Kipepeo Village Hotel for Overnight Stay.
Day 2:
Breakfast is followed by a tour of the Azania Front Lutheran
Church, which dates back to the early years of the 20th
century followed by a visit to the St Peters Catholic
church. After lunch visit the Kariakoo market which is Dar
es Salaam's busiest and largest market , here you can buy
some local produce. After the market tour proceed to visit
Dar's House of Arts "Nyumba ya Sanaa", where you will view
and buy various local arts and crafts. After this proceed
back to the hotel for dinner and Overnight.
Day 3:
Depart by road to Bagamoyo , Tanzania's Oldest Town and
world heritage site, check in at the Paradise holiday resort
Upon Arrival Visit the Bagamoyo Catholic church built in
1868 and considered to be the oldest church in east and
central africa. Proceed to visit the world famous Kaole
Ruins, which are located just 5km south of Bagamoyo. After
lunch proceed to the Bagamoyo arts college (chuo cha sanaa
), Tanzania's major art college. Dinner and overnight at
Paradise holiday resort.
Day 4:
Early morning sunrise game drive to Saadani National Park
till lunch, with large possibility of spotting the big five,
lion, leopard, elephant and buffalo, others are the rare
Roosevelt sable which is indigenous, whilst plains game such
as giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, eland and hartebeest are more
frequently seen in larger herds. Afternoon sunbath at the
beach; Dinner and overnight back In Dar at the Hotel.
Day 5:
Fly in to Zanzibar from Dar early in the morning after
breakfast, check in at the Blue Oyster Hotel. After a period
of rest and lunch , visit the Zanzibar's Anglican Church
which was built on a former slave trade site.
Day 6:
Visit Zanzibar's Stone town in the morning , Return to the
hotel for lunch, after lunch spend time at Zanzibar white
beaches for a period of rest and relaxation.
Day 7:
Fly to Dar es Salaam , where you will connect with your
international flight to fly you back to your home country.
