Detailed Itineraries
Day 1:
Fly in to Dar es salaam and check in to a hotel for dinner
and overnight.
Day 2:
In the morning take a tour of Dar's churches including St.
Peters, Azania Front's St Albany and St. Josephs. After
lunch, spend the late afternoon/ evening at the beach.
Day 3:
By Road proceed to Mikumi National park, have lunch then
have an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at lodge.
Day 4:
A full Day of Game drive at Mikumi whereby you stand a good
chance to spot the big 5 ( cheetah, lion, elephant, buffalo
and rhino). Dinner and overnight at lodge.
Day 5:
Arrive to Ruaha National Park in the morning for a day Game
drive at one of Tanzania's most unspoilt National Parks.
Spend overnight at lodge or camp.
Day 6:
In the morning proceed to Njombe, After picnic lunch you
will have an afternoon stop over at the Uwemba Mission in
Njombe. Dinner and overnight at njombe .
Day 7:
After breakfast , drive to Songea where you will visit the
St. Benedict's Abbey Peramiho . Dinner and overnight at
Peramiho.
Day 8:
Spend the Day at the St. Benedict's Abbey.
Day 9:
Morning Departure Tunduru where you will spend the rest of
the day and nigth at Mbesa Mission.
Day 10:
Depart Early in the morning to Ndanda, Upon arrival you will
visit vocational center, leprosy center. Spend the Night at
Ndanda Mission.
Day 11 & 12:
Depart to Kilwa by Car. Upon Arrival after lunch and a
period of relaxation. Visit Kilwa Ruins. Dinner and
Overnight. The Following Day visit the marine park, conduct
fishing activities. Dinner and overnight back at the hotel.
Day 13 & 14:
Drive to Selous. After a lunch and a short period of rest.
Do an afternoon Game Drive at Selous Game Reserve Dinner and
overnight at a lodge. The Following Day conduct a morning
Game drive , in the Afternoon depart by air to Dar es Salaam
for your flight back home.
