Summary Itineraries
This traditional tour will give you a chance to observe
different tribes’ lifestyle. You will visit Tarangire
National park, Lake Manyara, Serengeti National Park and
Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Tour Highlights:
Travel to National parks for Game Drives, View the Big Five
on game drives to Arusha National Park, Lake Manyara,
Tarangire National Park Serengeti national parks and
Ngorongoro Conservation Area – great for photography! Enjoy
an African Sundowner: Experience authentic African safari,
You will visit different villages of different tribes in the
Northern Circuit of Tanzania where you can freely mix with
tribal people to practice and observe their lifestyle, some
of that villages are Ilkidinga village, Mamba and Marangu.
Also a visit to development projects which are done by the
village member groups such as women groups and youth groups.
Mountain climbs of different village mountain peaks and
visit traditional healers and to the forest areas where
medicinal plants are found.

Detailed Itineraries
DAY 01: ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK
In the morning after breakfast at 0900hrs drive from the
hotel in Arusha town to Arusha National Park for game
viewing in the park, e.g. buffaloes, bush buck, giraffes,
hippos and many water birds living in and close to the
water. In the late afternoon drive back to the hotel in
Arusha town for dinner and overnight
DAY 02: ELIKIDINGA:
After breakfast, full day walking tour to Ilkidinga village
visiting the local Maasai and Waarusha on the slopes of Mt.
Meru. Visits to the local school, dispensary, Maasai women
group, traditional maasai healer, waterfalls, crops fields,
etc. This is one of the best cultural tours in Arusha and
includes a hot maasai lunch. Return to lodge/hotel in the
evening ready for next day safari.
DAY 03: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK:
In the morning at 0830hrs pick up from your hotel in Arusha
and drive on tarmac road 120km to Tarangire National Park
for game drives. Lunch picnic and there after lunch continue
with afternoon game viewing in the park to look for Lion,
Leopard, Elephant, buffalo, Python, Zebra, Oryx, Impala and
more… Over 450 species of birds have been observed. Late in
the afternoon the driver will take you for dinner and
overnight at Lodge or campsite, Tarangire. FB
DAY 04: MANYARA:
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for
game viewing. Stay overnight at Lodge/campsite on full board
basis.
DAY 05: SERENGETI:
After breakfast depart for Serengeti passing through Olduvai
Gorge the archeological site of Leakey's family. Stay
overnight at Lodge/campsite on full board basis.
DAY 06: SERENGETI/NGORONGORO:
Leave the Serengeti National Park after breakfast and depart
for Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority, one of the
natural wonders of the world. Meals and stay overnight at
Lodge/campsite on full board basis.
DAY 07: NGORONGORO/ARUSHA:
Descend in to the Crater for 6 hours Crater tour. This 100
square mile natural amphitheatre is host to an astonishing
array of wildlife and you may be lucky enough to see rhino,
elephant, lion, buffalo as well as large herd's zebras and
wildebeest. A picnic lunch will be taken in to the Crater.
Later in the afternoon drive back to Arusha for dinner and
overnight at hotel. FB
DAY 8 & 9: MARANGU:
After break fast transferred to the foot of Kilimanjaro
where the beautiful towns of Marangu and Mamba lies. Here,
local people have planned various walking tours through
valleys and numerous waterfalls depicting mountain village
life. Enjoy the panoramic scenes of and natural beauty of
Kilimanjaro. Tours can include the following:
- Guided tours leading to panoramic viewpoints ideal for
photography of waterfalls and Mount Kilimanjaro
- Chance to pass historical sights from clan wars and
ancient legends including large hiding caves used during the
Chagga - Maasai wars
- Visit to local blacksmiths who continue using ancestral
methods to prepare Maasai spears and tools
- Opportunity to experience Chagga culture with a visit to a
traditional Chagga house, Dinner and over night at Marangu
hotel.
DAY 10: MARANGU – HOME:
After break fast, at leisure till lunch time, after lunch
transferred to the Airport to connect your flight back home.
